A ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your paint and cures into a hard, transparent layer. It isn't a wax sitting on the surface. Once it cures it becomes part of the finish, and it stays there for years instead of weeks.
Water sheets and beads off instead of sitting on the paint, and contaminants have a harder time bonding to the surface. The car stays cleaner between washes and requires less contact to wash.
Bird droppings, bug splatter, and hard water land on the coating instead of the clear coat. They come off in a normal wash instead of etching into the paint.
UV from the sun is what oxidizes and fades paint over time. Ceramic coatings block a large part of that UV exposure and protect your clear coat.
A wax lasts a few weeks and a sealant a few months. A coating bonds and cures hard, and the two-coat system I use is rated up to five years.

EXO v5 is applied over Crystal Serum Light for additional gloss, protection, and hydrophobicity. Once it starts to wear down and the hydrophobic properties decrease, EXO v5 can be reapplied on its own and the base coat underneath still remains.
C1 Crystal Lacquer is specifically designed for single-stage paint found in older vehicles, and other finishes like matte or satin. It bonds and cures the same way and gives the same UV and chemical resistance, without changing how the finish looks. If this is your paint, mention it when you book.
